I headed to the Bel Air’s First Friday
festivities to meet up with friends, do some shopping, enjoy the music of live bands and have dinner.

With the searing heat and humidity that has been plaguing us lately, the thought of a snowball was most appealing. The long list of choices was daunting, not to mention I could get it in a cup that changed colors while I consumed it.

Wearing my campaign tee shirt prompted a conversation that led to the discovery that the young person staffing the concession truck didn’t get involved in politics.

“Not really interested,” he said. But as an afterthought he added, “ I do care about affordable health care.”
Just like the long list of flavored snowballs, there are a lot of choices in life, and one of them should be voting.

With a government elected by its citizens, voting affects every aspect of our lives from building development to schools to homeland security.

Your choice of a snowball is fleeting, but who gets into office is not. Take the time to learn who is going to be representing our district and acting as a steward to guide our community into the future.

I’m running for County Council District C because I want to preserve our quality of life and prevent Harford County from becoming an overly built, traffic congested nightmare.

For more information go to my website at:

The general election is November 6th. Early voting is Oct 25th through Nov 1st.

You can register to vote by going to MDV in person or on-line by going to
